Putnam County is known as one of the top P&Y counties in Missouri. A perfect mix of woods and fields, one look at the aerial will show you how well this property sets up for hunting, with a massive amount of timbered habitat on the west/south/north and crops across the hwy. to the east, this land sits smack in the middle as a deer travel zone to and from food/cover. 

With multiple ridgetop fields that would be great for food plots and standing beans/corn this property should serve as a natural staging area and funnel. Additionally, the west boundary is on the upper edge of a major north/south drainage that undoubtedly is a major buck travel funnel during the rut. Nice mix of browse and trees on the property, with a good population of oaks and other hardwoods, and also cedar pockets with south facing slopes for Winter thermal bedding cover. There is also a year-round pond on the property. Fall 2024 hunting rights are available for the new owner. The property is not leased for hunting and the owners haven’t hunted it in years. There is a good population of both deer and turkey. I only had a few days for a few trail cameras to be out in the first week of August but quickly got both deer and turkey photos on the property.

Rural water and electric are available at the road, and the ridge on the east side of the property that comes to the road would make the perfect location for a hunting cabin or even a full-time residence!
